SoftCo have an exciting opportunity for experienced [b]Microsoft Systems Engineers[/b] to join our Customer Services Group. Based in our headquarters in Dublin (South), the successful candidates will report to the Customer Services Manager. Working in this varied role, you will gain exposure to the latest Microsoft technologies and a wide range of IT environments and skills.
[b]Your role[/b]:
– Implement and support customer installations on SoftCo and Microsoft technologies including:
* Microsoft Windows Server Platforms
* Microsoft SQL Server Databases
* Microsoft IIS Environments
* SoftCo Client & Server Products
– Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge of Microsoft & SoftCo products.
– Liaise with related sales & product technical teams to ensure customer calls are progressed.
– Ensure SoftCo customers receive the best quality support in an efficient, knowledgeable, timely manner.
– Effectively deliver documentation and administration duties for helpdesk and project related functions.
– Other day-to-day departmental duties as necessary.
[b]Your profile[/b]:
– A focussed, structured and highly organised individual.
– Solid experience in Microsoft systems administration and infrastructure support.
– Proficient with Microsoft Operating System, IIS and SQL Server technologies.
– Experience with virtualisation, clustering and BCM solutions is desirable.
– A college degree or similar qualification in a technical field.
– Fluent written and verbal English.
– Full, clean driving licence.
