Media Senior Software Engineer -Java. My client is in urgent need of an experienced Java Engineer to join their Media software group. The role will be joining the team responsible for the server-side media processing engine at the core of my clients product suite.-This is a high-performance, scalable platform behind my clients product suite

You will integrate and tune best-of-breed technologies to perform batch and real-time transcoding, conversion, thumbnailing and manipulation of audio, video and image content, and implement smart ways to cache, download, and stream the results to users.

Candidate must have an Ability to design software for high performance, scalability and resilience. Candidates must also have strong application process flow and problem solving techniques. It will be expected that you have proven experience with N-Tier design and development, in distributed web or telecoms architectures. Successful candidate will have worked extensively with Unix or Linux platforms. It would be advantageous if you can demonstrate ability to work in an agile environment.
