[blue][b]Localisation Project Coordinator[/b]
9 Month Contract based in Dublin, Ireland[/blue]
Our client is a major “Computer Gaming” company with offices in Dublin and the USA.
Right now they have a requirement for a Localisation Project Coordinator (reporting to the onsite Localisation Manager).
[b]The Role:[/b]
* The LPC will be tasked with supporting the Project Management team with on going localisation projects for the European and Asian markets.
* Coordinating asset localisation and QA.
[b]Key Responsibilities:[/b]
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the localisation of assigned products from planning through to delivery.
* Coordinate asset localisation (Text & Audio) with localisation Vendors
* Be point person for query management from Vendors
* Update asset tracker, tracking volume of audio& text assets that are localised
* Keep track of asset translation schedule, working with Project Management to ensure that the schedule is on track, and notifying Project Management of any risks to the schedules
* Support Project Management in coordinating localisation Quality Assurance.
[b]Tasks in this area include, but are not limited to the following:[/b]
* Downloading builds and delivering to Quality Assurance
* Monitoring of the bug database
* Supporting the QA lead with queries
* Supporting Project Management in tracking QA budget
* Give detail information on status to Project Management for inclusion into weekly reports.
[b]Qualifications, Training and Experience (appropriate to the job):[/b]
* Suitable applicants will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a busy Project Management environment
* Will ideally be currently working in a localisation related role (Not necessarily coming from the “Gaming” industry)
* Although not essential, preference will be given to applicants who have experience in Internationalisation / localisation process, with an emphasis on Eastern Europe and Asian markets
