Linux Engineer Mobile / Web Technology Co
We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer with a strong Linux background to join the systems team of an international award winning web technology company who are the leaders within their field
The role will include the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a number of services which are either run as ASP's or installed on client site. You will assume responsibility for a number of different web application deployed to clients to include software, OS, DB, Network etc. Clients are located in the US, Asia, and Europe.
This role offers you the opportunity to work with leading edge technology and build upon your exisiting skills set.
The role will involve some international travel and an element of on call work every 5th week.
Key Skills & Experience
Linux,
Solaris 9,10
Scripting (Awk, Shell, perl)
Tomcat, experience with java web applications running in tomcat
Apache
Oracle/MySQL
