Exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Linux Administrator with one of Ireland’s most progressive online businesses based in the South East
[b]Roles[/b]
· Responsibility for desktop support & office systems
· Maintain existing Nagios monitoring system
· Writing and running database queries
· Applying software updates and patches to production systems
· Some out-of-hours support involved
· Assist in maintaining and developing documentation
[b]We’re looking for:[/b]
· Someone with the abilities to independently identify, research and solve complex technical problems
· Experience using & supporting Apple products
· Experience administering Linux-based system
· Experience of Linux scripting (bash/python/Perl)
· Experience administering apache
· Experience writing SQL queries, ideally Postgres experience
[b]Bonus points for:[/b]
· Any experience with config management systems such as Chef / Puppet / Salt a plus
· Experience administering enterprise-grade firewalls (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto)
· Some experience writing code a definite plus (ideally php)
