Linux System Administrator

Linux System Administrator for a large online business based in Central Dublin who are in the process of creating a new data centre. You will be responsible for maintaining current systems, upgrading and building new systems and planning long-term system architecture, building and maintaining high-availability enterprise-level platforms, including giving support to clustered web and database solutions, maintain and manage operational Linux environment with multiple servers, work with developers to architect and enhance applications, monitor system performance and plan for future capacity and scaling of the UNIX system. To get this role you will have 4 years of UNIX/Linux systems administration in a multi server environment – experience with Datacentres is highly desirable as is experience with database set-up/admin mySQL. You will have good TCP/IP networking fundamentals and experience implementing high-availability clustered web server solutions.
