As a Linux Administrator, you will be tasked with providing a front line support service as part of our client’s Global Support Team.
The team provides 24×7 ‘follow the sun’ technical support services and you will be responsible for enabling level 1 support teams to resolve customer issues and problems.
Primarily working with our client’s VoIP software application platform, you will work in collaboration with other teams based in Technical Assistance Centres in Australia and North America to reach successful resolutions.
You will respond to queries in a timely fashion, provide guidance to customers and go above and beyond to ensure successful resolutions are reached and customers are kept updated.
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
– 2nd line network support experience
– Experience with Linux
– A proven track record of using Wireshark
– A background in telecommunications and IP networking, ideally in troubleshooting and technical support
– Outstanding customer service skills and a focus on providing customer satisfaction and quality service
– A commitment to ethical business standards
– Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to effectively communicate with a global customer base
Responsible and resolution oriented, as a Linux Administrator, you must be highly customer focused with strong independent working abilities and the ability to pick up new skills quickly. The willingness to grow your knowledge is also key, as is an adaptable and flexible nature.
Experience of SIP protocols would be beneficial to your application.
