T24 Lead Technical Consultant, Ireland

Our client, a globally recognized leading provider of banking software is urgently looking to hire a Lead Technical Consultant in Ireland. The Lead Technical Consultant provides technical support and advice at client sites throughout the life cycle of product implementation and upgrade projects. The role also extends to offering technical services to live clients to help ensure continued optimised usage and successful operational deployment of products.

Role and Responsibilities
* Leads the technical and architectural aspects of product implementation and upgrade projects, acting as an effective advisor to clients in this area.
* Participates in client Technical Design Authority (or equivalent) groups to help ensure products are deployed effectively in the context of the client’s IT architecture, and to be an effective advocate of the technical solution being implemented.
* Acts as an effective conduit on behalf of the client and project to the company internal product organisation.
* Provides a single point of contact to clients throughout the project life cycle for addressing non-functional requirements.
* Assists the client through provision of expert advice and guidance for the planning, design and execution of non-functional testing.
* Defines technical solutions for customisation and configuration needs for products.
* Identifies technical risks and issues associated with delivery of the implementation or upgrade project, and develops effective mitigation or avoidance measures.
* Mentors less experienced technical consultants from the company, client and partner organisations, promoting adherence to internal methodologies and quality standards
* Maintains an up to date level of personal knowledge on product architecture and is able to transfer knowledge effectively to colleagues, clients and partners.
* Delivers specialist technical consultancy to live clients to maintain or improve reliability, stability, performance and ultimately client return on investment in the products

Requirements:
* Significant experience with T24 platform
* Experience in a software technical consultancy, ideally in a banking environment.
* Experience working on application implementation and integration architecture, preferably in a banking environment
* Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. Ability to lead technical teams is highly desirable.
