Lead Business Analyst
FINEOS seeks to strengthen its Dublin-based project team and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Business Analyst. An insurance background is necessary to assist in the understanding of our client’s requirements.
As a FINEOS Business Analyst you will be expected to lead the FINEOS requirements gathering and requirements management processes. Using a variety of standard requirements gathering techniques you will be expected to elicit requirements and subsequently manage and trace these requirements through solution, test and delivery.
You will be expected to manage requirements through solution, test and delivery and to assist the customer in defect management. You will plan delivery of requirements and configurable solution and track progress to ensure aggressive project deadlines are met. Planning should facilitate implementation of FINEOS standards and best practice. You will communicate scope changes to the customer and manage the customer’s expectations creating satisfied customers.
You will be expected to contribute to the FINEOS best practice standards and to input to the continuous improvement of these standards. You will recommend changes to standards to reflect lessons learned from project experience.
Over time you will become a FINEOS product expert and lead the customer in configuring the FINEOS product to its best advantage working with the solution architect group to ensure longevity of the customer’s configuration.
The role is largely a customer facing role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to allow you to establish key relationships both with the client and with the wider FINEOS organisation. These skills are necessary to ensure that the client is supported effectively and provided with the latest FINEOS information.
You will be expected to mentor customers and other FINEOS consultants in FINEOS product as you become expert in your role. Some customer training may require you to work with the training department in order to tailor training courses to the customer’s specific needs.
Responsibilities:
•Liaising with Sales to ascertain the project scope and high level requirements •Familiarising yourself with the sales demonstration build and configuration •Eliciting Requirements from customer and documentation of those requirements •Planning and leading requirement workshops with clients
•Communicating the customers requirements to all stakeholders •Managing requirements through to delivery •Working with the project manager to estimate and plan the requirements gathering, configuration solution and requirements management for the project and closely tracking against that plan •Advising best practice and risks associated with non- adherence to key project stakeholders (PM’s, TC’s, Customer Account Managers etc.) •Managing clients expectations of the FINEOS delivery •Presentations of FINEOS productRequired Skills:

•Insurance Industry experience, ideally with a specialisation in P&C underwriting or claims
•Multiple project end to end experience
