Junior Field Network Engineer – Competitive Salary + Mobile, laptop & mileage –

An exciting opportunity for an Junior Field Network Engineer to join our client support team. Based in Dublin, the successful field network engineer will report to the Technical Services Manager. Working in this varied role, the successful field network engineer will gain exposure to the latest Microsoft, Wireless, Voice and Virtualisation technologies and a wide range of IT environments and skills.

Role:
– Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge of products and solutions deployed on customer sites.
– Liaise with related sales & product technical teams to ensure customer calls are progressed
– Ensure customers receive the best quality support in an efficient, knowledgeable, timely manner
– Effectively deliver documentation and administration duties for helpdesk and project related functions

Background of candidate:

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems

2. Knowledge of MAC

3. Microsoft qualification desirable but not essential

4. Good customer service skills essential

5. 1 years’ experience in the industry

Profile of candidate:

A focused, enthusiastic, structured and highly organised and motivated individual
– A college degree or similar qualification in an IT related field.
– Experience in Microsoft (MCP Preferable) systems administration and infrastructure support.
– Experience with Wireless technology would be a plus.
– Sound helpdesk-based technical support experience with exposure to remote access tools.
– Exceptional troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
– An enthusiasm for emerging technologies and developing technical skills.
– Excellent communication and presentation skill with fluent written and verbal English.
– Full, clean driving license. Own transport required
