Our client creates software products that make life easier for highly regulated businesses. Their software makes it easier to move critical content safely, easier to exploit new electronic channels, easier to get work done efficiently and easier to ensure a business complies with regulation. They are now looking for a Junior Application Support Executive to join their team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

If you’re an IT support professional with experience of Windows Server environments, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a highly rewarding contract with an established business.

As a Junior Application Support Executive, you’ll be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to customers.

Striving to resolve issues within agreed timeframes, you’ll take full ownership of any technical problems, from beginning through to successful resolution.

You’ll liaise with external technology suppliers and escalate problems when necessary to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved. Additionally, you’ll log all calls on the internal tracking system and document solutions.

To be considered, you must have:

– At least one year’s experience gained within a support environment, dealing with customers via telephone and email channels
– Experience of MS Windows Server environments
– A track record of working with client server and web-based applications
– A good understanding of SQL, including the ability to understand database structures and develop queries to analyse data

As a Junior Application Support Executive, you must have excellent problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach. Analytical and proactive, you must also have strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
