Senior Web Developer Developer
6 Month fixed Term Contract
West Dublin

Our client is an established name in business software and we are now looking for a senior or experienced web applications developer with strong Javascript experience.
Based on commercial and client requirements, the role will involve delivering high quality software in accordance with defined standards, best practice and agreed deadlines on a high profile project
You will work with developers within and outside of R&D department to ensure consistency, quality and commercial success
Some support for resolving technical and customer specific issues and develop the capability of the team through mentoring of other team members
This is a senior lifecycle development role covering Analysis, Architecture, Design, Code and Test, Documentation, as well as some support and team mentoring.

Qualifications
• Relevant IT degree in computer science or commercial experience
• Experience with commercial software development lifecycle process
• 4 years experience in delivering JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery based products
• Visual UI design skills desirable
• Ruby on Rails experience an advantage – Not essential
• Ability to work as part of an Agile team
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Proficient with relevant design principles and best practice
• Proficient with tools that automate or assist the development process
• Proficient software design, database and development skills
• Excellent in troubleshooting complex software issues including in unfamiliar code
• Experience in integrating complex software components
