Java/J2EE developer

Currently seeking experienced Java-J2EE developers (Daily rate) to join our high-energy R&D and work in an innovative and dynamic environment, designing and developing cutting edge software solutions for the global mobile telecommunications market.

THE ROLE
• Create design and functional specifications
• Design and implement complex modules with minimal supervision
• Progress component design through development, testing, documentation and delivery
• Review design, functional specifications and code developed by other team members
• Create and review test plans and test tools
• Participate in continuous process improvements
• Install and deliver developed applications to customer sites

THE SKILLS NEEDED
• You will have a relevant degree, a minimum of 4 years industry experience using Java and a strong
background in the following areas:
• Virtualization, Cloud-based Applications, Amazon AWS, VM-ware, EC-2
• Strong Java and OO skills
• Agile development methods including SCRUMs and SPRINTs
• Standard OO design patterns
• ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
• RDBMS encompassing schema design
• PL/SQL having used: MySQL, Oracle, PostGreSQL
• Spring Core Framework including Spring web flow, Spring MVC
• Maven and continuous integration tools such as Hudson
• Full software development lifecycles
• Software quality processes
• Linux/Unix platform
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
