Java (with Flash) Developer – Antrim 

Our client is a large software house who have had an ongoing and continuous growth within their field over the last 15 years on a global basis. Their ongoing success within their industry has led to a requirement for expansion at the head office in County Antrim.

This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced Java Developer to join a busy team within an excellent organisation.

Main responsibilities:
1 Responsibility for the design and implementation of software projects which the company will allocate.
2 Liaison with 3rd party suppliers of technology components as and when appropriate
3 Liaison with Quality Assurance department and other Company departments as and when appropriate.
4 Continuous support for internal company procedures including, but not restricted to, quality assurance systems.

 Essential Criteria:
* Degree or equivalent in computing or a closely-related subject
* A minimum of 3 years current commercial Java development
* Commercial database experience
* Development of web-based applications
* Commercial experience of User Interface design
* ActionScript 3 experience
* 2-3 years User Interface design and implementation experience
* Commercial experience of JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
* Self Motivated
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

Desirable Criteria: 
* Experience of project management
* Working knowledge of other development languages
* Struts
* Hibernate
* JavaScript
* Web design (CSS, HMTL etc.)
* PostgreSQL
* Apache and Tomcat experience
* C
* Driving Licence
* Car
