Java Developer – Dublin

We have an excellent opportunity with a rapidly growing Fintech client in the city centre looking for an additional Java developer to join their development team. This development team has 6 developers currently and would be a great environment for a developer with 3-4 years commercial Java experience to grow and develop their career. We are looking to speak to candidates with the following attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Solid End to End Java development experience with 4+ years of experience as a software developer working with Java, Spring, EJB, JDBC, JUnit
• Hands-on relevant experience in JavaScript web application development preferably in frameworks such as Node.js, Angular,  React.js and Aurelia
• Exposure to SQL Server or MySQL and ideally a No-SQL instance like MongoDB.
• Experience developing scalable applications for deployment in a Cloud environment
• Experience working as part of a co-located agile team, delivering in sprint cycles, ideally with exposure to testing / QA within sprints
• Prior experience developing software products a definite advantage
• Good experience documenting work as well as excellent written and verbal  communications skills
