J2EE Developer – Contract
daily rate negotiable
6 month daily rate contract – Dublin – Java – J2EE
Overall purpose of Job:
To rapidly develop and maintain business critical applications while ensuring quality surpasses even the highest expectation. This will be accomplished by working in an agile environment with an emphasis on adaptability
Main duties and responsibilities are:
• Delivering software from concept to production and beyond while adhering to the SDLC process
• Minimising maintenance overhead by delivering the best quality software
• Working closely with internal teams to increase benefit to the business to maximise throughput of the development team.
• Acquiring a deep understanding of business domain.
• Constantly improving end user relationships
The Ideal candidate will possess:
• 3 plus years working in software development in a commercial Java development environment
• A deep understanding of the full J2EE software development lifecycle
• Java development – J2EE, JSF, EJB3, AJAX, JSP, Struts, JDBC, any experience with Seam or Hibernate would be great but not essential
• JBoss, Subversion, CVS, JUnit, TestNG, PowerMock, Eclipse, Ivy, Python, Perl
• Strong database knowledge: Informix, Oracle, SQL Server etc.
