J2EE Developer | Contract | Dublin

Seeking a Senior J2EE & Mobile Web Developer for an initial 6 month contract position. My client is a leading fund and asset management company and they have an opening on one of their teams for a J2EE Developer. You will be working with numerous different business lines and will be responsible for analysis, design, and development of software for those business lines.

Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

* Analysis, design, development and implementation of J2EE & Mobile web applications.
* Technical design and implementation of architectural components.
* Ability to work as an individual contributor, delivery to projects at different points in the project’s lifecycle
* Delivering project within timescales in a very fast paced environment.

Essential Requirements:

* 6 years’ experience as a Software Engineer with J2EE.
* Mobile web frameworks e.g. JQuery, JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, ModoLabs, Kurogo or similar
* Java /J2EE, EJB, Struts, Spring, iBatis, Tomcat, Eclipse, SQL
* Javascript, JSP, HTML5 and CSS/CSS3.
* Web Services, XML, SOA and design patterns.
* Able to work in a fast paced and autonomously from time to time.
* Experience delivering project using the Agile methodology
