Role:
Reporting into the IT Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the technology services process meets or exceeds the needs and expectations of business partners for installed services. The role also is key in facilitating the integration of new applications in a production environment.

The role will involve the following high level activities:

1. Facilitates service level attainment
2. Facilitates Change Management process
3. Facilitates transition to production
4. Identifies service delivery improvements
5. Facilitates effective information exchange between business and IS including external IS service providers
6. Establishes interfaces with Operations and Technical Support, Incident and Problem Management, and the service delivery organizations.

As part of your role you will coordinate incident resolution, provide a business perspective to change, incident and problem management and serve as focal point for escalation management for business and I.T. You will gather service level management data for reporting purposes and you will identify service delivery improvements. Your remit will include managing the change process to ensure minimum impact to the delivery of service within the organization.

Candidate profile:
• Experience: minimum 5 years experience in one or more of: large system operations, client server, network environment ;
• Leadership experience;
• Experience in a client service environment;
• Understanding of operations processes: i.e. change management and incident and problem management;
• Available on a 7×24 hour basis

Desirable Skills:
• ITIL processes
• In-depth knowledge of change management, software distribution processes, disaster recovery and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Knowledge of problem logging tools: e.g.. Remedy 7.5
