IT Support Engineer

Our industry leading client, who can boast some of the most advanced technological sites in the country and some of the most exclusive client contracts, are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide support for their internal IT environment and support for their clients IT environment.
The IT Support Engineer will provide day to day care and admin of both the internal and external environments. The role is both hardware (desktop and server) and applications focused. The environment is a 24/7 environment.

You will be initially brought in on a 6 month basis but will the role will go permanent after the 6 months.

You will;

– Provide IT Support and maintance for all of the IT systems.
– Build, install, monitor & maintain production, staging & development server environments.
– Have Windows Desktop Operating Systems and Office Environments exposure.

Technical Skills;

– Active Directory and Exchange 2007
– Cisco PIX firewalls and IPSEC VPNs
– SQL Server 2000/2005
– IIS, DNS, SMTP, RDP
– VMWare – ESXi, VCentre & Vsphere
– Linux Environments – Red Hat
