Role Profile
The role requires a high calibre individual with sound technical skills, particularly in service desk and hands on desktop support environment. The successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of communicating with staff at all levels.

The role primarily involves:
Day to day maintenance of network management issues
End user support and desktop support
Supporting desktop applications
Supporting network user issues and hardware troubleshooting
Involvement in cable management & telephone systems / VoIP
Installation and configuration of PC Hardware & Software
Other ad hoc projects as required

Candidate Specification:

Technical skills / Experience
Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP/7 Desktop OS
Lotus Notes, MS Office Products, Banking systems (desirable), HTML & Visual Basic (desirable)
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in IT hi-technical environment or similar role in the past
Relevant third level qualification.
