IT Security Administrator

My client is looking to hire an experienced IT Security Specialist to work as part of their growing team. You will play a central role in the continuous improvement of IT & security operations required to support the business and maintain ISO certification.

Responsibilities of the IT Security Role:

• You are contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Generation and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Assurance of customer data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Review, approval, and management of IT-related project documentation.
• Ensuring that all IT-related documentation is delivered into the QMS.
• Internal audits and input into management reviews.
• Regulatory and customer audit support; ensuring audit readiness always.
• Ensuring that the internal IT systems are always audit-ready.
• Assessment of compliance systems on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Provision of training in compliance systems/methodologies to company personnel.
• Assisting in reporting to Management on the state of compliance based on internal audits.

Skills and Experience for the IT Security Role:

• Diploma/Degree or higher in a science, engineering, IT, or similar discipline.
• Experience working with IT Systems in a quality-driven environment.
• An understanding of ISO27001 requirements or IT Security implementations.
• ITIL/ISO 20000
• Some knowledge of Linux and Apache
• Office 365 administration and security
• An understanding of Network fundamentals
