Role:
Manage projects from original concept, to final implementation and
• support/maintenance – Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
• Work closely with internal teams and external groups, including marketing teams to develop and execute program roadmap schedules.
• Estimate, plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Track project milestones and deliverables; deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, actively manage risk and analyse results, troubleshoot problem areas.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, Liaise with project stakeholders on an on-going basis.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify, communicate and resolve risks, issues and conflicts.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Work with engineers to isolate root cause of defects, investigate process improvement to reduce likelihood of re-occurrence and to drive operational efficiency.
• Continue professional development through attendance and contribution to professional seminars and conferences.
• Extensive travel required.
Required Skills:
• BSc/ BEng in Computer/Communications/Electronic Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management Disciplines and a track record of delivery.
• Significant experience of multi-site, multi geo, multi-function development projects, from requirements specification to development, release and customer support.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer facing experience a bonus.
• PMP or similar accreditation is an advantage
