Job Description:

Responsible for leading the portfolio management and delivery of engineering programs across multiple disciplines including but not limited to the different engineering job families or directly managing the development of a single project/product release, on-schedule, meeting the scope requirements and delivering expected business benefits

Manages the life cycle of the program or project ensuring the deadlines are achieved and day-to-day functions of the program and related projects take place as required. Works with engineering management to identify and improve overall efficiency of the program in the future. Best practices are captured and applied in achieving the operational excellence. Performs analysis of cross-functional and complex business requirements. Provide mentoring and guidance to application team project managers. Work with QA and test lead to ensure SIT and UAT test plans are defined, performed and test plans and results are documented accordingly. Ensure a release plan is defined and successfully executed. Identifies the need for new IT processes as well as significant improvements to major IT processes and drives the development and implementation.

Demonstrate broad technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change. Apply in-depth or broad technical knowledge to manage global maintenance services across various technology areas or functions. Work with architect team to engineer a design solution. Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the business and customers 

Must have previous experience leading an IT program or related initiatives. Proven problem solving skills and techniques. Broad to advanced technical and business knowledge. Able to quickly learn and comprehend technology landscape, technical design options, 

Track record of successful program management in complex, multi function programs. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organizations long term. Be able to map broad concepts to structured projects, or translate conceptual requirements into concrete IT deliverables.

 BA/BS degree or higher in an IT related field or a minimum 10 years experience leading IT projects/programs project management or in like roles/businesses with equivalent work experience preferred. PMP or ITIL v3 certification preferred.
