IT Network Support Administrator – Galway – Windows XP

[b]Matrix Recruitment[/b] is working closely with our client here in [b]Galway[/b] on the vacancy of a IT Network Support Administrator

[b][red]ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:[/b][/red]

Successful candidate will work with other support members, ensuring efficient IT services are securely in place to support organisational current and future business requirements. This includes management of the company network, email, internet, Support on Microsoft office applications, Microsoft windows server and exchange 2003 administration,.

Support will also perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of IT Hardware and Software.

Ability to meet deadlines and work comfortably under pressure (i.e. in a ITSupportenvironment)

Ability to create, track and implement IT related projects (across multi-functional teams if necessary)

Good team player who enjoys customer interaction

Willingness to change (with an ever changing environment) and adopt new skills

Proactive and self-motivated, who learns quickly and is able to work under minimum supervision

Keep up to date with emerging technologies and latest Microsoft products.

[b][red]Essential Technical skills[/b][/red]

In depth understanding of Microsoft windows XP, 7 and hands on experience .

Experience on active directory, Windows server administration File and Print server management, Exchange 2003.

In depth understanding of Ms office 2003,2007,2010.

Knowledge of LAN/WAN , VPN , Firewall , VoIP, TCPIP,DNS

Proven experience in Support and network administration mostly on Microsoft operating Systems

Third Level Computer or Electronics qualification

Microsoft certification is added advantage
