Our client is a heavy engineering company which manufactures end machines. They are currently looking to recruit an IT Manager / IT Systems Manager to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an IT Manager looking to further their career with a leading company offering scope for progression.

As an IT Manager / IT Systems Manager, you’ll be responsible for the IT function of three sites. In this hands-on role, you’ll plan and implement large systems whilst looking after small technical issues that arise each day.

Your duties will include:

– maintaining the company’s existing IT infrastructure
– managing the company website
– ensuring the company has an effective backup and disaster recovery plan
– procuring and licensing IT infrastructures
– improving operating efficiencies, information gathering and customer experiences

To be considered for the role of IT Manager / IT Systems Manager, you must have:

– extensive experience in a similar IT management role
– experience of managing a company website and resolving any technical issues arising

Although not essential, a degree in computer science or a related discipline would be a distinct advantage to your application. Experience of working within the manufacturing industry would also be beneficial.
