IT Manager

Maven TM are pleased to announce the vacancy for an IT Manager to be based on site at our Carlow office. The IT Manager will look after day to day running of the IT and telephone systems and will be in charge of vendor relations between Maven TM and our providers.

As well as the daily maintenance and tasks which will be carried out by the IT Manager, Maven TM will be running various technology projects which will require the collaboration of our chosen candidate.

These technology projects may include the following:

• An IT audit of our existing infrastructure
• Implementation of Microsoft Office 365
• The development, integration and management of a master database.
  

 The technical skills required may include a combination of the following;

·         Coding languages such as API, HTML, Java, C.net, C#

·         Tools such as Smartdraw, Visio, MS Office

·         Data management software

·         Qualifications such as PRINCE II a distinct advantage

·         Degree in IT preferable

 The IT Manager will ideally have a strong technical background with experience in third level support and show a high aptitude for design and implementation. As the IT Manager will be dealing with vendors and assisting in training sessions, they will possess strong communication skills and have past experience in team leadership.
