IT Account Manager
We are a world leading finance services multinational company listed on the Fortune 500. Due to continued growth, we have an immediate requirement for an IT Account Manager. This is a new job, its a permanent IT job, based in our state of the art data centre located in Shannon, in County Clare.
Role:
To provide IT leadership in the delivery of client facing IT services to major accounts, and to ensure that all processes related to Application delivery functions are managed in an efficient and accurate manner. You will report on all relevant IT Performance Metrics, and you will be the main IT Management Team point of contact for Clients. You will manage dedicated IT Application teams and you will develop team structures. You will manage IT financials for Client accounts (Build Op Plans, Control costs to ensure that expenditure is being managed in line with Op Plans, Estimates, Client Billing, etc) and you will manage all aspects of Agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s ) with Clients.
You will drive high standards of compliance and controllership, e.g. adherence to SAS70 and you will be responsible for ensuring that effective risk management is applied to all team deliverables
Candidate profile:
Educated to degree level, you have a hands on IT background and you have excellent client management, project management and process management skills. An ability to positively influence, and negotiate with the business is essential as is a strong commercial focus.
You will have previous IT Account Management experience and have a detailed understanding of current business technologies and business applications. You have a track record of driving process change and of managing multiple priorities, allied with excellent negotiation, presentation, facilitation & communication skills. You have several years of IT project management experience with a track record of delivery and you are comfortable with using MS Project.
You should have proven analytical skills allied with excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
