ICT PARTNER MANAGER

This opportunity is with a newly launched ICT Convergence team within a global company who has broken all records in delivering products to new markets. They are a brand associated with exceptional customer service, hi-tech consumer products, and community engagement and employee development.
We now require an ICT Partner Manager who will assume responsibility for developing the organisations portfolio for converged communications solutions – you will launch a suite of converged products to increase the companies revenues in new product areas. – Have you done something similar before??
To get this job, you will have the following competencies:
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience within a partner/product management position within an ICT or Telecommunications environment
• In-depth understanding of the business challenges within the telecommunications and IT environments
• Strong Commercial acumen and understanding of the commercial implications of convergence and the opportunities and threats this brings
• Highly accomplished in product management with the ability to overcome barriers relating to the launch of new propositions
• Experience of IP based services, VoIP, DSL, VPN and relevant CPE coupled with all round networking knowledge
• Ability to turn concepts into products and manage this through to implementation
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally in a large organisation
• Ability to build networks, drive collaboration and develop cross functional co operation coupled with the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to influence and mobilise others to undertake and continuously change for the better good of the business

On successful hire you will:

Work with the sales and segments teams to develop the overall converged strategy for the business, managing the following aspects of the product mix

• Develop an understanding of customer’s short, medium and long term communications needs
• Proactively identify new product opportunities within the unified communications / converged environment and design business centric propositions to meet these requirements taking into account cost, time to build robust products that are scalable and deliver on our growth targets
• Own and manage business case development for all new converged propositions
• Provide innovative and cost effective technical solutions to add to our emerging ICT product portfolio to drive our growth strategy
• Manage multiple external partners in a co-ordinated manner to ensure agreed objectives, timelines and budgets are achieved

• Conduct regular reviews with 3rd party partners, report on performance KPIs and manage the commercial arrangements with each partner
• Prepare and present Senior Management level presentations as required
• Keep abreast of Industry and Technology trends in the ICT sector
