Inventory Control Manager/Planner, £24k – £40k, Belfast, LS ICMB
Role Description:
The Role Consists of Managing Inventory Levels to Maximise Service Levels within the framework of Targets
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits.
* Rationalising inventory and maximizing available working capital via Inventory Turns improvements
* Classify Items with respect to product type, service levels and segregate into ABC stocking stratification via use of statistical data.
* Minimise and Reconcile Obsolete Inventory across various Product Portfolios.
* Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks via;
* Audits Kanban cards for qty and location. Complete cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained to agreed standards. Augmented by Route Cause Analysis.
* Experience in Use of ERP Systems, preferable Oracle
* Inventory Turns, whilst Minimising Stock Inaccuracies
Qualifications:
* B.S. Degree or equivalent.
* Systems experience.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Good organization and follow-up.
* Customer service orientation.
* High energy level.
* Ability to prioritize and act in a proactive manner.
