Internal Audit IT Consultant

My client, a leading business advisor and one of the fastest growing firms in Ireland are looking for an ambitious candidate who is looking to work with a wide scale of clients and have a valued opinion. In this role you will be responsible for delivering a full range of IT risk and audit services.

My client are seeking to increase their market share and expertise in this area, as such you will be very much an SME and main point of contact for this department. Responsibilities include planning, performing and documenting information systems audits and business process control review engagements, advising clients on managing IT risk, and assisting the BRS team in client management and practice development activities.

Skills and attributes:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience required
• Third-level education, ideally bachelor's degree in Information Technology
• Familiar with Windows server features such as AD, Group Policy, DHCP, AD CS, RDS etc.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a technical role e.g. in system administration, information security, or IS auditing
• Knowledge of some or all of the following: access control software, security architecture and administration, Internet use/firewalls, network security awareness and enforcement, security policies and standards, operating systems (Windows Servers, UNIX, Linux, AS400), databases (SQL, Oracle)
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and to deal with multiple activities and competing priorities in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel on a regular basis to clients as required
• Flexible, self-motivated, self-directed, able to work both as a team member and independently

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Holding at least one of the following certifications: MCTS, MCITP, MCSA, ITIL, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCNA
• Exposure to ISO27001, Sarbanes Oxley or ISAE3402 reviews an added advantage.
