An external Project Manager is required to manage the first IT Transformation Project. The competencies and experience required are listed below:
• Project management qualification or previous project management experience.
• Experience of organisation change projects and if possible IT organisation change
• Previous team management experience.
• Ability to lead and manage others.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, planning and IT skills.
• Encourages innovation and manages change.
• Ability to develop effective relationships with key project stakeholders through consultation, advice, facilitation of discussion and resolution of conflict.
• Ability to effectively deploy project management tools and techniques.
Core Aspects of Role:
– To design and implement a standardised Business Process Management and Improvement framework
– To redesign, restructure and up skill the IT organisation
– To develop aligned business / IT strategies for each division and a consolidated IT strategy
– To increase the efficiency of the IT supply function
– To develop a new budgeting process for IT investment

The expected duration of the project is 10- 12 months & this is the first of three projects.
