Morgan Mckinley is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager for a six month contract based in North Dublin. The Infrastructure Manager will have a technical back group and ideally knowledge in Sun Solaris, Oracle and san Storage. The role involves managing a vendor performing for an upgrade as outlined below and also involved in the design validation.
The role is to support an infrastructure upgrade of a Telecommunications main customer database/platform. This platform is the main customer care database and is required for majority of the telecommunications applications.
Rebuild Infrastructure standard with aligned SAN storage- Looking to deliver a resilient, robust & supported contingency cluster within a mission critical SLA for the current production Database Cluster.
Migration of the development and Test environment to new hardware – The environment uses dedicated HP storage that is out of capacity and cannot technically grow any further.-
The ideal candidate will have project management skill after working on previous infrastructure projects that have been based around Sun Solaris, Oracle 11g and San Storage.
