Infrastructure Consultant (Storage/ Unix/ Virtualisation)
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior level candidate with a major Irish Infrastructure Consulting practice. This company is a Tier 1 HP / IBM / VMware Business Partner.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / attributes:
– Exposure to the management and configuration of one of the Unix flavours (ideally HP/UX, but also Linux or AIX)
– Hands-on experience of a variety of hardware platforms would also be an advantage, particularly Blade systems and enterprise class storage platforms
– Strong exposure to virtualisation projects, particularly VMware
– Implementation of backup and recovery solutions (HP DataProtector, Veritas NewBackup etc)
– Technical certifications in storage, Unix & VMWare VCP
– Experience working on chargeable projects as part of a multi-skilled infrastructure team
– Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
– Must have previous client-facing background
