ICT Support Engineer

Due to expansion in the South East, Datapac, one of Irelands leading ICT solutions providers, seeks applications for experienced ICT Support Engineers in the Waterford and Wexford areas.
The following are some of the responsibilities of the Support Technicians role:
- Support and troubleshoot
- Advise on technical issues, maintenance and enhancement.
- Documentation of all issues as they arise and solutions when resolved using in-house Helpdesk Application
- Management of in-house IT Helpdesk system
These positions will be based on client sites in the Waterford and Wexford areas.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years relevant technical experience, an undergraduate degree in ICT or engineering and relevant current Microsoft accreditation.
Specific Skills and Qualifications Required
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (at least 2 years)
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2, 2012 (at least 2 years).
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8 Desktop environment.
- Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2010/13 suite.
- Good understanding of Networking
- Experience of Hyper V
- Experience of tablet PC’s, data projectors, interactive projectors, interactive whiteboards, visualizers.
