ICT Business Consultant / Account Manager

Role
PFH would welcome the opportunity to work with someone who may not have direct sales experience but has good customer focus and a high degree of ICT knowledge and application in a business setting. This is an exciting new role for someone who would like to progress into the Business Consultancy Area

Training will be provided on how to promote the PFH Technology Solutions / Products into the PFH managed client base, with the objective of managing current accounts and ensuring that all client needs are met in line with commercial objectives.
The successful candidate will have a strong ICT background and will gain knowledge and capability in the PFH sales process, client engagement, customer care as well as all of our products and services.
The role will have the full support of in-house marketing and the back-up of unmatched technical resources within PFH Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Achieve financial and commercial targets as agreed with the Commercial Director and Sector Director
• Defend and grow existing client revenues and GP
• Fully understand the dynamics, key issues and stakeholders in each client.
• Build lasting relationships with each stakeholder in each client.
• Actively seek to understand the client’s business strategy and issues
• Develop and take responsibility for plans to develop each existing client within their responsibility.
• Ensure all the clients within their responsibility are kept up to date with the products and services being offered by PFH Technology.
• Uncover new business opportunities in a pro-active and innovative manner.
• Ensure that all pricing, proposals and tender documentation is returned in a professional and timely manner as requested by the clients.
• Provide timely feedback of client information and insight to the sales team.
• Monitor and ensure that the service levels being provided by PFH Technology are in accordance with client expectations, and escalate accordingly.
• Freeing the client director up to develop key new business opportunities and providing succinct feedback on individual client performance

Experience:
• Ideally at least two years’ experience working in the ICT industry
• Ideally, but not essential, working in an IT sales role
• The successful candidate could also come from other areas of the ICT supply chain
• Passion to learn sales and an early track record of success is a key differentiator
• Aptitude toward understanding new ICT technologies and a willingness to learn
