The Role
You will play a key role during a time of change for our client – as they migrate and integrate their HR/Payroll systems to SAP. This role will be focussed on providing an increased level of service between IT & the HR functions – requiring the use of project management methodologies/skills to ensure the delivery of system and process improvements for the HR teams, on time, within resource / budget constraints and realising the appropriate goals.
Key duties:
* Project manage migration to SAP
* Facilitate the preparation of business cases based on the company’s global strategy as well as local requirements
* Ensure ongoing compliance with agreed standard IT solutions and related security practices
* Develop standard system change requests, based on the agreed standard process.
* Understand and support the Group IT solution strategy to ensure local requirements are aligned
* Lead in the Payroll test preparation / Ensure all integration points are covered
* Assist in the preparation of scenarios for testing
* Review & audit system integration points
* Provide 2nd level Help Desk support for systems
* Assume ownership to maintain training material
* Development of training curriculums
* Facilitate the preparation of local business process & end user documentation
The Person:
* Proven track record working with / implementing strategic SAP projects
* Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP & SAP Payroll
* Strategic vision and leadership.
* Professional manner – articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
* Strong HR awareness
* Able to build relationships cross functionally
* Understanding of IT Infrastructure Requirements / key dependencies
* Must be able to travel
