£35,000 – £45,000
Our client is a global organisation who are a market leader in their field. They have a solid client base and have won a number of awards for technology innovation. As such they are working on high end projects producing cutting edge next generation technologies. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Hardware Engineer to assist with producing world class products.
The specific responsibilities of the role include;
– the design, prototyping and testing of products
– to select the required components for volume manfacturing
– to support the manufacturing sites in the selection of alternate components and suppliers
– to ensure that all products comply to regulatory, safety and legal requirements
– to conduct meetings and conference calls to coordinate other groups within the organisation
– to create and modify documentation and change notices
– act as a mentor to other members of the team
The successful candidate must have a BSc/BA Electronic Engineering and must have extensive experience in the development of hardware development procedures and methodologies gained within a commercial environment. They must also have experience of driving quality processes and procedures.
There may be a degree of travel involved with this role to their other UK sites.
