Our client is a successful software development company that specialises in the design, development and implementation of sophisticated, yet easy to use web-based management information systems. As a Microsoft Partner with a competency in Custom Development Solutions, their technical capability is extremely high. An opportunity has now arisen for a Graduate Software Developer / Junior Web Applications Developer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an IT graduate (or equivalent) looking to develop their career within a leading, innovative company.

As a Graduate Software Developer / Junior Web Applications Developer you will be responsible for developing quality web-based software applications for both our client and their customers.

Initially, your focus will be on supporting current products developed using ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server. However, as you become more established in this role, you will become more involved in the software development process.

Your duties will include:

– Designing and developing product ideas using web and internet technologies
– Providing support for our client’s internal and external products
– Designing and developing internal systems using web and internet technologies

To be considered for this position, you must have a degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related IT discipline. You must also have some commercial experience, ideally gained within an IT environment.

Although not essential, experience in any of the following would be highly advantageous: ASP, ASP.NET, C#, VB or SQL Server.

Experience gained within a helpdesk or technical support role would be beneficial to your application. A Microsoft certification, such as an MCP, MCSE or MCSA would also be an advantage.
