Graduate Financial Software Consultant

Global Industry leader within the software for Financial Markets space require  2 Graduate level candidates to work as Financial Software Consultants,

Graduates who have a recent level Degree, Masters, PhD in either Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance  are asked to apply.

A minimum 2:1 qualification is required. The successful candidates will enter the trainee graduate program and be coached and mentored by world class industry leaders.

On completion of the Graduate training program, the Successful candidate will work with  clients throughout the whole life cycle of our Clients software systems.

This is an entry level position and it is most suitable for recent graduates at Degree, Masters and PhD level who have an outstanding academic record and who are interested in combining their technical knowledge, analytical skills and interest in the financial markers sector  in a client focused role.

Responsibilities

 Provide professional consulting services to customers throughout the full life-cycle of product implementation

Provide customers with go-live assistance and on-going support

 Professionally manage relationships with customers and intermediaries.

 Provide assistance with post-implementation software upgrades

 Deliver product training to new and existing customers

 Work with the Development team to deliver new developments to customers

You will want to work in challenging role that combines both technical IT and financial skills in the risk area of financial markets. Clients will be both internal and external.

• Qualifications required

• Minimum 1H / 2H1 degree in Maths / Physics / Engineering or Finance
• Excellent Leaving Cert
• Fluent written & spoken English is essential while fluency in another European language would be an advantage
• Technical skills would be beneficial i.e. RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle), Unix / NT / LINUX operating systems
