Genesys Engineer

Genesys Engineer – URGENT ROLE!! €320 to €330 per day

Our client is arguable one of the largest and most respected mobile telecoms solutions providers in the World.   With an unrivalled portfolio of services and solutions this mobile telecoms giant is looking to recruit a Genesys Engineer for their technology operation in Dublin, on a 6 month contract.

Reporting to the Care Support team Lead and operating as part of the Support Technical Team  you will  provide second level support for our clients customers.

Key duties include:
* Resolve all queries and issues escalated by first line or Customer Support Team within SLA timeframes to ensure minimum customer impact.
* Operate as part of the on-call rota for second line support.
* Act as the Care representative as required for planned changes to the Care systems.
* Act as primary owner for one or more key Care systems, ensuring that the Hardware, Software and system maintenance / health checks are appropriate and scheduled accordingly.
* Work with the problem manager to determine root cause analysis and preventive measures to ensure no repeat of incidents and implement said measures.
* Act as Care Operations representatives at release project level to ensure early adoption of operational requirements

To apply you will need to demonstrate:
* Customer Care Systems and administration requirements
* Excellent knowledge of your specific system
* Knowledge of Voice Objects, Genesys  Applications.: ccPulse, IRD, CME,OCM, WFM,ICS,Tserver/Symposium & CIT, TIBCO, MPPAE, .Net, Web based systems.
* Previous knowledge of structured programming techniques
* Excellent VMS, Unix, NT/2003 and SUN experience.
* Detailed knowledge of VB, Web and .Net technologies
* Expertise in application support, specifically Microsoft VB, C , AP, HTML, SQL, COM, MTS, .NET
* Excellent knowledge of internet technologies, web services and java applications
* Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle)
* Degree, Diploma (or equivalent) in IT/Engineering
* Certified to minimum of Genesys 7.5
