Front End Outsystems Developer

We are currently recruiting for a FrontEnd Outsystems Developer to join one of our technology teams. We are seeking an experienced Developer to develop web & mobile applications by writing high-quality efficient code using Outsystems as part of an Agile development team.

What You Will Do

• Development of web & mobile applications through the OutSystems platform.

• Technical ownership of the Planet Styleguide for OutSystems and creation of new re-usable controls, patterns, themes and layouts.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.

• Translate the UI/UX design wireframes and mockups to actual code that will produce pixel-perfect visual elements of the application.

• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, while helping designers to produce a great UI that you can technically implement in the OutSystems Platform.

• Ensure high-quality graphic standard and brand consistency.

• Application development that follows front end development best practices.

• Participate in, design, promote and support an agile way of working within the team.

• Participate in sprint planning sessions and do realistic and achievable estimates.

• Participate in review sessions and contribute to improvements in process & work methods.

• Work closely and effectively with other team members to meet project milestones.

• Take ownership and accountability for a specific project.

• Constantly keep up to date with the latest OutSystems platform evolution and innovation.

Who You Are

• An experienced Front-End Developer.

• Experienced with OutSystems platforms or similar low-code platforms.

• Certified in OutSystems platforms.

• Experienced with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery.

• Experienced with web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

• An understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

• Knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework, such as AngularJS, TypeScript, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or others.

• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).

• A basic understanding of solution architecture and design.

• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience with working in an Agile development methodology.
