Office hardware Support – 12months

Escalated Hardware Support Specialist –
Office Products (Finnish).
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Hardware Support Specialist will provide specialist telephone support to customers, business partners, & major accounts for escalated hardware problems.
Supporting , developing and Mentoring teams through coaching & training to meet their operational objectives is key.
Successfully resolving Warranty and Contract printer conditions remotely through technical escalations.
Direct Access telephone support is also provided to engineers in the field.
focus on hardware resolution rates & availability to Direct Access technicians.
Web/email support is provided to customers who request it via public web interfaces, and support is also provided to Service Partners outside of Europe (Middle East, Africa, & Asia).
The role calls for a highly interested and motivated person with strong technical aptitude to develop detailed hardware knowledge of the client product range
Education and Experience:
• A-Level Education / Leaving Certificate or Relevant Technical qualifications.
• A strong aptitude for Office hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to communicate in English and required advertised language with complete accuracy and clarity, both verbal and written.
• Able to control interactions with customers using persuasion and influencing skills.
• Able to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations.
• Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Able to convey sensitivity and a positive approach to customer needs.
• Can demonstrate effective interactive skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Skills & Knowledge Essential:
• Fluency in Finnish and English
• Minimum of 1 year working in current technical support position
• Experience of supporting and maintaining PC’s, Printers, & Peripherals.
• A good and detailed knowledge of IT Fundamentals (PC hardware, Printer languages, Operating Systems, Desktop Applications, Networking, Network protocols, etc).
• A good and detailed knowledge of Colour Printing Theory.
• A good and detailed knowledge of the various current printing technologies on the market.
• Skill and competency at providing professional technical telephone support.
• Experienced at troubleshooting known/unknown technical queries.
• Fluency in English & language of customer base.
• Demonstrable interest in Software and Networks, and other technical subjects.
