Field Support Engineer
Field Support Engineer required for permanent position with leading multi-national. The successful Field Support Engineer will support clients in the Munster / Connacht region providing server support, hardware break/fix, installation, maintenance and repairs on customer sites. Company vehicle will be provided and excellent on-call bonus applies.

What will I do as a Field Support Engineer?
- Technical support of customers in the Munster/Connacht area
- Management of cases through to completion according to SLA’s
- Routine repair and maintenance of hardware/peripherals
- Configure components / supporting technical issues for large, complex multi-platform systems
- Determine site and equipment requirements
- Develop project installation and escalation plans.
- Provides customer with overview of installation activity
What do I need?
- Previous experience in Field Support / datacentre operations position
- Knowledge of server support – HP / Dell / IBM / Sun
- Experience working in structured / SLA environment an advantage
- Knowledge of Storage technologies an advantage
- Networking skills
