Our client currently requires an Exchange Support Engineer for a one year contract based in Dublin City Centre with the potential of been extended. The daily rate on offer is €250. Candidates must have successfully passed either of the following Microsoft exams;70:236: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring and/or 70:662: Exchange Server 2010, Configuring
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of the E-Mail services/Anti-Virus and Content Filtering infrastructure and the completion and updating of system documentation to standards.
Required to provide skills transfer/mentoring to staff assigned to the e-mail projects.
Work in conjunction with the email administrators
Dealing with queries from users
General Exchange and Outlook trouble shooting
Provisioning of mobile mail devices
Dealing with the IT Helpdesk
Mailbox management
Ongoing monitoring of Exchange Servers
Fault reporting
Testing any modifications in a Lab environment
Preparing standards and procedures documentation for the proper planning, installation, security, support and maintenance of the Exchange Infrastructure
Maintaining and managing the Anti-Virus and Content filtering solutions in place
Apply AV/Content Filtering updates
Participation in projects as a team member (where necessary)
Any other tasks which are considered to be appropriate to the role.
Experience Required:
Displayed proficiency of push mail technologies using ActiveSync, specifically setup and configuration of Nokia, Apple and Windows Phone 7/8 devices.
Displayed proficiency using Blackberry Enterprise Server
Knowledge of Symantec Antivirus products, particularly
Symantec Messaging Gateway
Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange
Has worked on MS Exchange Projects previously
Experience of electronic messaging systems using Exchange 2007 and Windows Server 2008.
Must have Successful passes either Microsoft exams;
70:236: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring and/or
70:662: Exchange Server 2010, Configuring
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
