[b]My client a leading Irish owned company based in Cork have a current requirement for a Project Manager with strong ERP Implementation experience[/b]
The overall purpose of the Project Management function is to build and maintain project plans that will contribute to a consistent delivery of revenue, return on investment and technical projects / business improvements on time, to plan and to budget and in a professional and structured manner. The role is also responsible for ensuring that adopted project management methodologies are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
[b]Key Areas of Responsibility[/b]
* Management of implementation projects from end-to-end including project scope definition, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, risk management, change management and project closure.
* Storage and publication of all project documents throughout a project lifecycle including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes and all relevant logs.
* Management of change management within the organisation including definition and implementation of the adopted methodology across all relevant departments.
* Storage and publication of all change request documents.
* Work closely with other departments to manage the project function in line with business and project objectives including Marketing, Business Development, Operations and Finance.
* Participate in the Business Development cycle for development of project and resource plans to aid with bidding for contracts with new or existing clients.
Communications
* Weekly status report for all ongoing projects, ongoing change and the company projects list log.
* Weekly status report for all agreed and proposed operational change
Profitability of Business Unit
* Weekly recording of all hours worked on billable & non billable tasks to a central area

* Report Monthly on objectives and competency improvements (3 reviews per qtr)
* Report Quarterly on formal industry recognised accreditation & training / qualifications

* Strong background in IT related Projects
* Good understanding of complex technical solutions
* Possesses knowledge of integration between Client server solutions, databases, internet architecture and software based telephony
* Ability to manage technical resources throughout the lifecycle of the project
* Good understanding of software development lifecycle

[b]Qualifications & Training required or desired:[/b]
* 5+ years’ experience in management of complex technical and functional projects in a fast-paced environment
* Third level qualification
* Accreditation with a recognised project methodology
Previous Experience required or desired:
Knowledge of implementing and Enterprise Resource Planning Solution is critical
* Strong decision making, interpersonal and communication skills to Director level.#
* Strong skills in planning, organization, scheduling, problem solving and the resolution of conflicting priorities
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to drive complex planning and operational management projects
* Experience in managing a number of projects through a complete cycle.
* A good understanding of call centre methodologies
