We are currently seeking to recruit an ‘Engineering Systems Support’ IT Analyst to join a leading engineering firm on a long term contract basis.
The IS department is rapidly becoming a major service provider for other Business Units. To support this increased level of activity, an excellent opportunity is available to join Global Information Systems for the position of an IT Analyst I supporting regional Engineering related Systems Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The EAME Product Lifecycle management (PLM) Support Analyst would be responsible for Level 1 support of the Engineering system environments with the EAME region. This includes Team Centre PLM, Pro/Engineer, AutoCAD and other related CAD systems associated with Engineering environments.
The individual must be able to successfully function in an environment where high quality and efficiency are expected.
The EAME PLM Support Analyst would report directly to the on-site Senior IT Supervisor.
The EAME PLM Support Analyst should be aware of dotted line responsibilities to the EAME PLM Matrix organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide L1 support for TeamCenter, Pro /Engineer, AutoCAD and CAD related Engineering systems within the EAME Region.
* Provide L1 support for TeamCenter, Pro /Engineer, AutoCAD and CAD related systems within the EAME Region.
* Creation and Maintenance of Engineering System L1 Support documentation.
* Meeting Engineering related systems L1 Support SLA or OLA targets.
* Responsible for generating and working continuous improvement ideas related to their assigned area.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Essential:
A minimum HNC/HND in Information Technology plus 1 year Engineering related systems experience in a PLM / CAD environment.
OR
Candidates who can demonstrate significant Engineering related systems experience in a PLM / CAD environment.
Desirable:
* Autocad support experience
* Pro Engineer support experience
* Teamcenter support experience
