We are currently recruiting on behalf of a multi national in Cork. The position is for a Eclipse Software Engineer in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive IT company that is thriving in the current market.
In our clients short history they have developed many sophisticated software products that provide the human interface into the control of industrial automation devices. The emphasis is very much on innovation and technical excellence in software development and the market place is competitive and demanding.
Absolutely Required:
2 years experience with in Object Oriented Application Development in Java.
Eclipse plug-in development including experience in core platform, SWT, EMF, GEF/Draw2D, GMF.
Exposure to computer animation using graphical frameworks.
A strong interest in user interface design.
Discipline in software development principles such as unit testing and UML.
Strongly Recommended:
XML libraries and binding technologies
Experience in Swing/AWT
Nice To Have
Embedded systems development experience using J2ME or similar technologies
Industrial application/SCADA systems experience
Experience in Visualisation Systems
Experience in DSLs / Code Generation
