Development Manager

Our client is a global e-trade partner of Microsoft and the first e-trade application to be launched by Microsoft as part of its Windows Azure Cloud Computing platform. My client is looking for a Development Manager for their Dublin office. The specification of the job below:

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role are:

* Establish a robust software development process within the company, covering new product/feature introductions from R&D through to product testing, release and maintenance management, including source code escrow.
* Work closely with the company's COO and VP Product Management & Marketing in defining the product roadmap, and take sole responsibility for ensuring that the company has the required production capabilities to deliver on the roadmap.
* Manage relationships with third party technology suppliers (e.g. hosting, billing, licensing, etc.).
* Ensure that all third party technology integrations are working effectively
* Determine and implement the optimal allocation of the company's engineering resources, including inputs to "build or buy" decisions
* Manage the annual Engineering budget and provide excellent reporting to the company's management team

Profile:

The successful candidate will have the following profile:

* Degree / Post-Graduate Qualifications in ICT
* 10+ years experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years as a team leader
* A successful track record in rolling out large-scale SaaS applications
