Community Manager, Platforms (Dublin)

Are you excited about Facebook Platform? Facebook Dublin is looking for managers who can help us build and scale a high-performing Platform Operations team focused on Facebook Platform and Connect support and adoption. This would be in conjunction with Platform policy, enforcement and ensuring a strong Platform ecosystem. The position is full-time and based in our EMEA headquarters in Dublin.

Responsibilities

– Manage a high-performing team of highly talented and motivated individuals;
– Develop scalable operations solutions to support growth of Facebook’s developer community and the launch of new Platform products;
– Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to members of your team;
– Scale your team by capitalizing on opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency, driving key automation and productivity initiatives;
– Help drive constant improvement and iteration;
– Develop metrics to measure the performance of the department
provide insights and reports;
– Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development ;

Requirements

– Undergraduate degree from a leading academic institution, or equivalent experience (Masters preferred);
– Proven track record of high achievement and success;
– At least 5 years of experience (direct management experience preferred);
– Passion for Facebook Platform (technical knowledge and/or experience with developer communities highly desirable);
– Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment;
– Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally;
– Excellent communication skills;
– Resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized
– Creative problem-solving abilities;
– Comfortable with change, experience in a fast-paced and demanding start-up environment a plus;
