Desktop Support Engineer
Desktop Support Engineer – Galway
Our client, a leading IT managed Services provider, requires a Desktop Support Engineer for a rolling 3 month contract in Galway. The successful candidate should have experience in Technical Support roles with Servers, Microsoft technologies, Cisco network devices, administration such as Active Directory and other Desktop Support knowledge.
This is a part-time contract (3 / 4 days per week).
Responsibilities
The primary focus will be the support, maintenance and deployment of AXA Ireland’s PC based solutions.
Problem resolution and solution deployment.
Hardware installation and configuration, OS installation and configuration, specifically Windows 2000 & NT 4.
As part of a Service Delivery Team you must be able to provide a professional, friendly and efficient service, to specific deadlines.
You must also be capable of making a significant contribution to technology projects in the Desktop Environment (inc. laptops/desktops & peripherals).
